School Based Therapy

At Peak Behavioral, we offer school-based therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Our school-based therapy services are designed to provide effective, evidence-based ABA therapy in a familiar and comfortable setting for the child.

Here are some of the school-based therapy services we offer:

1. ABA Therapy in the Classroom: Our ABA therapists work directly with children in the classroom to provide individualized therapy, target skill acquisition, and address problem behaviors. Our therapists also provide support and training to teachers and other school staff to help them implement evidence-based strategies that promote positive behavior and academic success.
2. Social Skills Training: Our school-based social skills training services help children with ASD develop social competence and build positive relationships with peers. We use a variety of techniques and materials to help children develop social skills in various settings, such as recess, lunchtime, and group projects.
3. Behavior Management: Our behavior management services aim to reduce problem behaviors and increase communication and self-regulation skills. We work with the child and parent to teach these skills to generalize and transition in the home environment.
4. Parent Training and Collaboration: We believe that parental involvement is critical to the success of mental health therapy. We provide training and support to parents and caregivers to help them implement strategies and techniques that reinforce the skills learned during therapy sessions. We also work collaboratively with parents and school staff to develop a coordinated and consistent approach to the child’s treatment.
