Social-Pragmatic Skills Delay

Children that do not interact well socially may have a disorder known as Social-Pragmatic Skills Delay. This is common in children with Autism, but children without Autism can also have a problem with social communication. Family history and other disorders can contribute to Social-Pragmatic Skills Delay.

If a child is not able to communicate well in a group setting, the can suffer socially and academically. This is a treatable problem and should be treated sooner rather than later. The older the child gets without this being treated, the harder it is to treat.

If your child struggles in social settings, schedule a time to meet with us. Our therapists can help.
