School Readiness Program (in clinic only)

Summit Bound Program

At our Summit Bound program, we understand that every child is unique, especially when it comes to learning. For our current ABA clients only, we offer a tailored approach that integrates the expertise of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Special Education Teachers in a supportive environment.

How the collaboration works

In our clinic, clients receive one-on-one instruction from both an RBT and a school teacher work together to create an effective and supportive learning experience:

  1. Customized Learning Plans
The teacher and RBT collaborate to create a customized education plan for the program that aligns with the child’s strengths and challenges. This ensures that both academics and social-emotional development are addressed in a holistic manner.
  2. Behavior Support and Skill Building
While the teacher focuses on academic content and social learning, the RBT provides behavior support and helps with skill-building exercises. Whether it’s improving communication, managing frustration, or learning self-regulation techniques, the RBT offers consistent reinforcement strategies.
  3. Tracking Progress
One of the most essential aspects of our program is tracking the child’s progress. The RBT assists in tracking behavioral progress and records data that helps refine teaching methods. Meanwhile, the teacher tracks academic achievements and overall development. This data is shared regularly to make any necessary adjustments to the learning plan.
  4. Increased Attention to the individual
With the RBT providing one-on-one behavioral support, and the teacher offering focused academic instruction, the child benefits from a learning environment tailored to their needs. This combination ensures the child has all the attention they need, allowing for a pace and approach that best supports their learning style.
  5. Building Confidence
The one-on-one attention from both professionals allows children to develop a sense of confidence in their abilities. The small and whole group settings makes it easier to engage without distractions and work through challenges at a comfortable pace. Ask your Special Education Teacher for more details.
